Motsetninger mellom makthavere i Australia

At den konservative regjeringa til John Howard (som er meeeeget blå, et sted
mellom Høyre og Fr.P. etter norsk skala) har vært forholdsvis handlekraftig
m.h.p. å intervenere til fordel for folket på Øst-Timor, har falt andre
deler av den australske herskerklasse tungt for brystet. Enkelte bekymrer seg
nå over "den skade som gjøres på det gode forholdet til Indonesia".
