Up to 2 PhD scholarships at Department of Engineering Cybernetics within ”Control, Information and Communication Systems for Environmental and Safety Critical Systems”

Up to 2 PhD scholarships within the strategic university program “Control, Information and Communication Systems for Environmental and Safety Critical Systems”, financed by the Norwegian Research Council, are vacant. The scholarships are offered for a period of 3 years. The PhD scholars will work on challenging research problems in an active research team with extensive industrial and international cooperation. The topics of the PhD research will be within the following projects:

Applicants must have a siv.ing.- or MSc degree in control systems or similar. Solid scientific qualifications, relevant MSc research topics and personal qualities are important. Foreign applicants must document a TOEFL score of 600 or higher. PhD fellows are placed in salary code 1017, salary level 45 - 61 in the national salary scheme, gross NOK 353 000 – 468 500 per annum, of which 2 % is deducted for the State Pension scheme. This includes health insurance and there is no tuition fee.
