Brief biography
Graduated Master of Technology/Sivilingeniør at the Norwegian
University of Science and Technology in June 2005, within the field of
Process Cybernetics at the Department of Engineering Cybernetics.
Currently a phd-candidate at the same department until 2008.
Phd-project: E-operation, value potential and new technology for real-time reservoir management,production optimalization and production
The project is under the supervision of professor Tor Arne Johansen.
Industrial partners on the project are ABB Enhanced Oil Production, Norsk Hydro
and Epsis and funding is granted by the Norwegian Research Council.
The project aims to develop a comprehensive suite for real-time production
optimization of reservoirs and petroleum production. By means of production optimization
one hopes to acheive increased recovery and to reduce operational costs on aging
norwegian petroleum fields.
