Ett bra citat från Marx, som tar upp
"bas-överbyggnades"-problematiken,
finns i Teories of surplusvalue vol 1, sid. 288,
skrivet 1861-63.
"Man himself is the basis of his material production, as of any
other production that he carries on. All circumstances, therefore,
which affect man, the SUBJECT of production, more or less modify
all his functions and activities, and therefore too his functions
and activities as the creator of material wealth, of commodi-
ties. In this respect it can in fact be shown that ALL human
relations and functions, however and in whatever form they may
appear, influence material production and have a mor or less
decisive influence on it."
Ömsesidig påverkan brukar även beskrivas som att ett resultat eller
en effekt av något, blir i sin tur orsak till något.
Människan (eller klassen) skapar något, som i sin tur återverkar på klassen.
Detta att subjekt respektive objekt byter plats fick Marx från Hegel.

Vad gäller socialismen (som ett övergångstadium) till på sikt ett
klasslöst samhället, så gäller det att skapa sådana omständighetersociala institutioner och värderingar, som underlättar för ekonomindet sätt människan försörjer sig, att utvecklas.
Proletariatets diktatur måste vara något tillfälligt, något som ganska
snart försvinner, annars utveckas det till en ny klass, med ett
nytt förtryckt folk under sig.
