QUESTIONS THE COMPLIANT MEDIA DOESN'T ASK
THE KURDS
1) Mr. President (Bill Clinton): Earlier this year the U.S. helped the
Turkish government capture and kidnap from Kenya the leader of
the Kurdish movement for autonomy. The Kurds have been fighting and
struggling for their freedoms for a very long time and number more than
25 million. Why are we bombing the Yugoslavs over Kosovo when
we are on the other hand helping the Turks terribly repress the far
greater number of Kurds?
THE UNITED NATIONS & THE CONGRESS
2) Mr. President: Not that long ago concerning Iraq you were telling
the world how important the United Nations was to justify using
international force. But now the U.S. is bombing Yugoslavia and never
even consulted the United Nations Security Council...not to mention going
to war by Presidential/military fiat rather than Congressional
declaration. Aren't you acting just as some Presidents before you that
you vehemently opposed and denounced, especially when you yourself dodged
the draft as a young man?
A MILLION DEAD IRAQI CHILDREN
3) Madame Secretary (Madeleine Albright): Last year you indicated that
U.S. policy was "worth it" even though more than a million Iraqi children
have died because of those policies. Since then the most senior U.N.
official U.N. dealing with Iraq has resigned charging the U.S. with
genocide and immorality. Why are you now presenting yourself as such a
humanitarian, so concerned about some tens of thousands of Yugoslav
refugees in a civil war, when the same America you represent has caused
such massive death and misery in Iraq to the civilian population?
THE PALESTINIANS
4) Madame Secretary: While the U.S. is insisting on putting its own
troops in Yugoslavia for "Peacekeeping" it continues at the same time
to provide Israel with billions of dollars yearly making possible their
settlements with "by-pass" roads and the putting of Palestinians onto
modern-day Reservations all surrounded by the Israeli army. Are you also
considering bombing the Israelis and using American troops in the
occupied territories to safeguard the further enthic-cleansing of the
Palestinians from their own country?
